The Family Pic

Four Children, Two Doodles and One Very Lively Home!

Welcome to DoodleBug Dynasty, our small, family-based Australian Labradoodle breeding programme in East London.

Our dogs live right in the middle of family life - alongside four children, busy mornings, household noise, garden games and plenty of sofa cuddles. Things are rarely quiet, rarely spotless and never short of affection.

Our puppies are raised in that same warm, everyday environment, with individual care and positive early experiences to help prepare them for life as much-loved family companions.

Couscous Now

It All Started with Couscous

Couscous as a Baby

At the heart of DoodleBug Dynasty is Couscous, our much-loved multigenerational Australian Labradoodle and the original matriarch of the family.

Couscous is affectionate, sociable and happiest when she is close to her people. Her gentle temperament and unmistakable doodle character are central to everything we value in our breeding programme.

DoodleBug Dynasty grew from our love of Couscous and a desire to raise confident, well-supported puppies with the foundations to thrive as cherished family companions.

The Planners
Couscous with Mum and Dad

We manage the planning, puppy care, sleepless nights, paperwork and conversations with prospective families.

Between us, we make sure that every decision begins with the welfare of our dogs and puppies.

Our Children

The kiddies!
The kiddies!

Our children are the resident playmates, cuddle providers and everyday-life socialisation team.

They help puppies experience the movement, sounds and unpredictability of genuine family life from an early age.

Couscous

The Matriarch
Couscous Voguing

Couscous is the original DoodleBug matriarch, experienced mum and chief household supervisor.

She has a calm, affectionate nature and is happiest when the family is together.

Kiki

The Mischief-Maker
Kiki, our Australian Labradoodle, running through long grass

Kiki is the youngest member of our little dynasty: curious, affectionate, mischievous and rarely very far from us.

Once she is fully mature, she may become part of our future breeding programme, subject to satisfactory health testing.

Raised In the Middle of Family Life

Class of 2024

Our puppies are born and raised within our home rather than separately from it.

They grow up around children, conversation, television, household appliances, visitors, grooming, play, rest and the ordinary comings and goings of family life. As they develop, we introduce new experiences gradually and positively, always working at the individual puppy’s pace.

Our aim is not to produce puppies that have experienced everything by eight weeks old. It is to give them secure early foundations, confidence in people and a positive start from which their new families can continue.

What Matters to Us

Health First

We use health information and screening to make responsible breeding decisions. Screening helps us reduce identifiable risks, although no breeder can promise that a dog will never experience a health condition.

Temperament Matters

Beautiful coats and expressive faces may attract attention, but temperament is what families live with every day. We value affectionate, sociable dogs capable of settling into ordinary family life.

Individual Care

Our dogs are family members first. Puppies receive daily handling, observation and care within the household, allowing us to understand their developing personalities.

The Right Family

We do not allocate puppies solely according to colour or who enquires first. We take time to understand each family and consider which puppy’s developing temperament may suit their home and lifestyle.

A Few Things the Dogs Have Taught Us

Sofa ownership is largely theoretical.

A freshly brushed doodle stays tidy for approximately eleven minutes.

Every meal requires a canine quality-control inspection.

And no family photograph is complete without a tongue, tail or unexpected photobomb.
